Located
about 22 kilometers from Phuket town, you
can drive straight on
Thepkasatri Road to the northbound of Phuket island until
arriving the main
intersection at Thalang District, turn right and go on
the shady small road about
7 kilometers through the rubber plantations to reach Ton Sai Waterfall.
This tiny
waterfall is on another side of Khao Phra Thaeo National
Park which
combine the fascinating flora and fauna of the tropical rain forest
with 2 waterfalls
on each side, Bang Pae and Ton Sai. |

were filmed, is on a 300 meters walking distance from the parking
area. |

Green lawn that suitable for picnic, flowers, trees, natural
pools with cool air
breezing are what you will find while walking on the shady
walking track. Ton Sai is not big but scenic for relaxing and dipping
into the cool water.
The suitable period to travel at the waterfall in
Phuket is surely during the
rainy season (May-October) that Ton Sai will look greater
and have more
water enough for Waterworks Authority

to
send to people living nearby. Anyway, please beware of
the strong currents if you go to swim.
Another interesting activity
when you visit Ton Sai Waterfall is to explore the jungle
of Phra Thaeo that you can ask for map of the park and
the guide to lead you through the ecology trails over to
Bang Pae Waterfall.
The restaurants and snacks shops are available near the entrance. There are many
sets of sitting areas provided. The park doesn't allow the travellers to take
food inside the waterfall to keep it always clean.
